Home Office Comforts

Working from home can be hard, especially if you do not have a designated room. However, using the right sort of furniture can help create a better mind set and it can make working in your home that much easier. I know I’d love a ‘home-office’ thing set up in my own very small apartment and here it is how I imagine doing it.

Even the most dedicated of workers will struggle some days when all they have is the laptop and the coffee table, as it feels like home, rather than work. The trick is to select an area of a room such as the dining room which can be converted into a mini office space. Although there is lots of fancy office furniture in the market, if you don’t have a specific room to turn into a home office then you will find it hard to pick the bolder items. Pop up banners at furniture store sometimes offer interesting visuals that could help designing home office.

A good site to look at which has a fantastic range of goods from the large to small is www.interoffice.co.uk. The collection has some very simple, yet classy office tables, pedestals and chairs on offer. In fact all of the ranges there have something to offer most size requirements and yet remain simple, clean, functional and stylish.

They also offer a range of storage options, which is always important if you are going to successfully work from home. These come in the form of full length cabinets to draw and cupboard options. If you are into funky colours then the Han range is for you, it has storage in burgundy, mustard and orange.

Just because all you have is one small alcove in the dinning or living room doesn’t mean it has to look and feel like home. With some carefully selected products and a little bit of decor adjustment you can make the space into your ‘home office'and have it feel more business-like without having to compromise on style or quality.
